Balance Point is a motorcycle pitch HUD. This policy is short because the app collects almost nothing.
What the app uses on the phone
Motion sensors — Fused gravity / device motion, and user acceleration when LEARN TGT is on, to compute handlebar pitch and sample a balance-point estimate. This happens on the device. We do not receive it.
On-device preferences — Target angle, window, gate, seated baseline and the time it was set, best loft time, best balance-point time, peak angle, bike type / engine size / rider height and weight used to estimate a starting target, metric or imperial display, whether LEARN TGT is on, whether you have been through first setup, and whether you accepted the safety notice.
Memory only — The list of runs from the current session. It is not written to disk and is gone when the app closes.
What we do not collect
No account, email, or name
No location, GPS, or maps
No camera, microphone, or contacts
No advertising identifiers
No analytics SDK, crash reporter, or third-party tracker
No data sold, shared, or used for advertising
If you delete the app, the on-device preferences are removed with it.
Children
Balance Point is for riders 18 years or older. It is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above is updated and the new text ships with the app. The in-app SAFETY & PRIVACY screen always shows the current version.
